Elizabeth K. Benton

Elizabeth Pauline Krum Benton, 83, died at home with her family by her side, May 18, 2007 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mrs. Benton was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1968. Prior to her move to Fort Pierce she resided in Huntington, Connecticut.She retired from the St. Lucie County School System after 30 years of service. Betty, as her friends called her, found enjoyment by loving her family, gardening, feeding the birds, sewing with expertise and dancing. She danced with the Nostalgia Follies for many years. She was of the Catholic Faith and loved God.She was a wonderful wife, "mom", grandmother and special friend. Betty will be missed by many.
Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Bob & Donna Benton; daughter & son-in-law, Laura & Rene Hedal; grandchildren, Kadri Benton, Kori Benton, Erik Hedal and Karen Hedal all of Ft. Pierce, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Benton, Jr., two sisters and parents.Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Community Care Center Adult Day Care, 2900 S.
