Elizabeth "Liz" LeCour

Elizabeth LeCour, 66, of Fortson, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 14, 2023 in Stuart, FL. 

Liz was born November 11, 1956 in Dillon, SC to John Cannon Sr and Dorothy Cannon. She graduated from Martin County High School and studied Cosmetology at Columbia Technology. She was a local, trusted All State Agent. 

Liz married her best friend, Ken LeCour on August 6, 1983 in Stuart, Florida and together they raised their daughter Desiree. Liz was a devoted wife and mother. 

In her free time, Liz loved working in her garden, creating arts and crafts, and hiking.

Liz will be deeply missed by her husband of 39 years, Ken; her loving daughters, Desiree Brown and husband Ronnie and their children; Angela Hardy and her family; Andrea Smith and her family; Valarie Nenter and family. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Cannon Hardin; sisters, Jean and James Leonard and family; Diane and Jeff Jerkins and family; brother, John Cannon Jr and family. Liz was predeceased by her father, John Cannon Sr; sister Betty Sue Johns, mother and father-in-law, Gretchen and Frank LeCour.

A memorial service in loving memory of Liz will be held at Life Christian Fellowship 2450 NE Dixie Hwy, Jensen Beach, FL 34957 on Friday evening, June 16th, 2023 at 7:30 PM.
