Elizabeth “Lizz” Rae Brannigan
Lizz Brannigan, age 23, died Friday, February 7, 2014 at her home in Fort Pierce, FL. She was born in Fort Pierce, FL and lived in West Palm Beach most of her life, recently moving back to Fort Pierce, to be with her family. She was a Verifier with the Police Benevolent Association.
She was musically talented and loved to write her own music. She wrote poetry and published it on-line. She enrolled at IRSC, pursuing her dream of becoming an archeologist. If you said “Road Trip”, she was packed and ready to go! She was a very simple person who loved animals, the outdoors and spending quality time with her family.
She is survived by her mother, Kristina Johnson of Fort Pierce; her sisters, Kristi Cherel of Mount Holly Springs, PA and Erica Taylor, of Jacksonville, NC; step-sister, Shelby Cheung of Fort Pierce; step-father; Rudy Cheung of Fort Pierce; maternal grandparents, Joseph C. and Valerie A. Johnson of Bricktown, NJ. She was preceded in death by her father, William D. Brannigan and paternal grandmother, Helen Rhodes.
