Elizabeth Matkowski, 93, of Stuart, Florida passed away December 24, 2016.
Mrs. Matkowski moved to Florida in 1998 coming from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Elizabeth had a magnetic personality and quick wit. She had a strong belief in God and a loving nature. Elizabeth was devoted to her children and grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.
Survivors include; sons, Robert (Catherine) Matkowski of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and Charles (Jeannie) Matkowski of Ellsworth, Maine; daughter, Elizabeth (Ed) Frederick of Stuart, Florida; grandchildren, Diane Matkowski of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Jason (Jolie) Matkowski of California, Rachel (Jonathon) Coughenour of New Jersey, Anastasia (Scott) Sanderson of New Jersey; great-grandchildren, Stella, Hazel and Scarlett. Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband Pete in 2000 and beloved sister, Natalie Young; six weeks ago.
A visitation will be held from 10AM – 11AM with a Mass starting at 11AM on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at St Christopher Catholic Church 12001 SE Federal Highway Hobe Sound, Florida 33455.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30AM on January 21, 2016 at St. Martin of Tours Church, 5450 E. Roosevelt Blvd Philadelphia, PA 19124.
