Elizabeth M. Prinz

Elizabeth M. Prinz, 80, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away September 14, 2024 at home with her family.

Elizabeth was born on August 30, 1944 in Brooklyn to Stephen and Veronica (Vaitavka) Retenski.

Elizabeth married Dennis Prinz in Astoria, Queens. 

“Betty” was formally a paraprofessional employed by B.O.C.E.S. in Long Island, NY.

 She loved spending time with family, carrying on family traditions, going to Casinos, shopping, ironing everything and indulging in anything chocolate.

She supported and participated in events and walks from both the American Cancer Society and Susan B. Komen.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis J. Prinz.

Survivors are her son, Dennis Prinz and daughter Denise Percy, both from Port St. Lucie, Florida. Her brother, Stephen L. Retenski from Patchogue, N.Y. and sister Barbara Prinz from Westbury, N.Y.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, Gathering will be from 11AM to 12:30 PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 12:30 PM at the Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
