Mrs. Barbatelli was born in Bayshore, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1978 coming from Central Islip, New York.
She graduated from Stoney Brook University and was a cataloger for St Lucie County Library System. She loved crocheting, needle point, and gardening.

Survivors include her husband, of 31 years, Gary Barbatelli of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother Robert McEvoy of Patchogue, NY; sister Mame Harlow of Buffalo, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Maureen McEvoy.
