Elizabeth Ann Smith, 87, passed away on July 26, 2018 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Elizabeth was born in Summertown, Georgia and has been a resident of Fort Pierce, Florida since 1940.
She was a citrus packer for 39 years. Elizabeth was a loving mother to four children. She loved Jai-Alia, reading and being outdoors.
Survived by daughters; Lillian Blount of Fort Pierce, Florida, Theresa Schwettman of Fort Pierce, Florida, Debra Hendrix of Thomasville, North Carolina; son, Gary Smith of Fort Pierce, Florida; brothers, Robbie Thorne of Vero Beach, Florida, Leslie Thorne of Vero Beach, Carroll Thorne of Texas; sisters, Frances Johnson of Vero Beach, Florida, Lucy DeGrotto of St. Cloud, Florida; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Smith; brother, JC Thorne; grandson, Peter Summerlin; parents, John and Juliette Thorne.
