Elizabeth Sugden, 95, died May 27, 2007, in Fort Pierce, Florida.She was born in Brooklyn, New York, and was a resident of Fort Pierce for the past 6 years, coming from Queens, New York.
Elizabeth was a homemaker, a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, loved to knit and crochet and was politically active in her community.She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth A. Dunleavy of Fort Pierce, FL. and Patricia Hatch of Huntington Station, NY; sons, Robert Sugden of Tucson, AZ and John Sugden of Palm Coast, FL, 24 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Sugden and son, William Sugden.Memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s memory to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 S. E. Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.A Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church on Thursday, May 31st at 10:00 A.M. Inurnment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
