Ella Martin Kilgore Botts, 95, of Fort Pierce, Florida died Saturday, April 11, 2009 at her home.
Martie was born in Glasgow, Barren County, Kentucky and has lived in Fort Pierce since 1958 moving from Miami.
She was a bookkeeper retiring after thirty years with Mullins Inc. and Freshwater Smith Machine. She attended Maryville College and had been active in the Saint Lucie County Republican Club and Day Lily Society.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Reed Kilgore Booker, husband, William Botts and brother, Harry Edward Kilgore.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund for Heathcote Botanical Gardens, 210 Savannah Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
Services: No local services are planned. A memorial service will be conducted by the Assembly of Yahweh in Jacksons Gap, Alabama. Final interment will be at Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce.
