ELLA LOUISE SALYERS
Ella “Tootsie” Salyers, 62, died on November 10, 2009, in Vero Beach, Florida.
Tootsie was born in Kitts Hill, Ohio and was a resident of Fort Pierce, FL since 1963, coming from Ironton, Ohio.
She was a homemaker, a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, loved to cook and was an avid football and Nascar fan.
Survivors include her daughters, Holly Salva of Fort Pierce, FL and Janie Salyers of Missouri City, TX; brothers, Bob DeLong of Waupaca,WI, Don Delong, Walter Delong and Jack DeLong all of Ironton, OH; sisters, Betty Rutherford of Glenburie, MD and Doris Dale of Ft Pierce, FL; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Salyers, Sr., son, Earl Salyers, Jr., sister, Wanda Pierson and brother, Billy Joe DeLong.
An inurnment will be held at a later date at White City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
