Eloise Davis

Eloise Davis, 88, passed peacefully on April 24, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Davis was born in Bartow, Florida and spent most of her adult life living in Hialeah before moving in 1993 to live with her daughter Debby and son-in-law Tim Thomas in West Palm Beach and finally to Fort Pierce in 2008. Eloise loved her little home in the country. Her family, friends, and wonderful neighbors along with the peacocks, horses and birds brought her great joy.
Eloise was a career woman working more than 40 years for Burdines' security department. She loved her job and the friends and memories she made along the way.
Eloise loved to travel, sketch, oil paint, work word puzzles and drink coffee on her back porch enjoying the wildlife. Nothing brought her more joy and aggravation than watching football and talking stats with her grand kids. She volunteered in West Palm for Meals on Wheels when she was able.
Eloise is survived by her three loving daughters Joanie Thomas (Cooper City), Debby Thomas (Ft. Pierce) and Donna Davis (Denver). Eloise "Granny Baby" was adored by her 11 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grand-child.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in memory of Eloise to be sent to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Ft. Pierce, FL 34981. www.TCHospice.org
Family will celebrate her life on Sunday, April 27th at her home in the country in Ft. Pierce.
