Emilia Mae Cole, 94, died October 3, 2021 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Cole was born in Dewitt County, Texas and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Emilia graduated from Santa Rosa School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse/Head Nurse for Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia for 38 years. She then went on to be an Auxiliary volunteer at Port St. Lucie HCA Medical Center. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, High Point Women’s Club, and the Book Club. She truly enjoyed RV Camping but her biggest pleasure was her grandchildren.
Survivors include Glenda Harden of Fort Pierce, FL, Georgia Ann Hamblin of Gulf Shores, AL, Jason Wingo of Southaven, MS, Glen Collins of Stuart, FL, Ryan Collins of Fort Pierce, FL; great-grandchildren, Emilia and Grant Collins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Cole, Jr.
Services: A prayer service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
