Emily Nell Hickey

Emily Nell Hickey of Salt Springs, FL, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, August 4, 2007, at her son’s home in Ft. Pierce, FL. A long time resident of Ft. Pierce, herself.Mrs. Hickey had settled here after WWII, coming from Miami, FL.During WWII Mrs. Hickey served with the USO of Miami for our troops. Mrs. Hickey was also employed in the Retail Fashion trade and was also a TV Fashion Model of clothing. In her later years, Emily was in the Real Estate Title Research for Lawyers Title Ins. of Ft. Pierce. Since 1981 Emily has been retired at her lake home in Salt Springs, FL.Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.Mrs. Hickey is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Hickey and two sons, Bill Hickey and Mike Hickey of Ft. Pierce. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Hickey Chura of Salt Springs, FL and her son, James H. Hickey and daughter-in-law, Linda Craft Hickey of Ft. Pierce.Emily was the most wonderful loving mom and friend, she will be sorely missed.
