Emory “Steve” Stevens, 88, died March 10, 2011 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Stevens was born in St. Augustine, Florida and moved to Fort Pierce in 1950.
Steve was the owner/operator of Steves’ Sign Shop for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He attended Palm Vista Church of God in Fort Pierce.
Survivors include his daughter, Gloria Jean Welling of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandsons, Glenn A. Triplett and Alfred F. Welling both of Ft. Pierce, FL; great-grandson, Dakota C. Triplett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois A. Stevens.

Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 10-11 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Hughes Cemetery in St. Augustine, Florida.
