Erma Lee Dow, 78, of Ft. Pierce, passed from this earth on March 24, 2007 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.She was a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce. Before retirement, she was a waitress at Monroe’s Restaurant and The Hot Shoppe on the Turnpike for several years before joining her husband in his electrical business, “C.E. Dow Electric”.“Mema”, as she was know by most of her family, enjoyed fishing & camping at Lake Okeechobee, spending the summers in Bryson City, N.C., collecting Trolls, The Miami Dolphins and NASCAR racing. She was a Jeff Gordon fan.Survivors include three daughters, Nannette Carter (Eddie), Connie Avery and Pat Everett (Kenny), all of Ft. Pierce. One sister, Alice Mae Whidden of Ft. Pierce. Six grandchildren, Michelle Carter and Chad Carter both of Ft. Pierce, Nicole Brogdon of Auburn, GA, Marci Bono of Ft. Pierce, Mark Fussell of Vero Beach, and Kelly Darling of Orlando. Nine great-grandchildren, Ali Vail of Ft. Pierce, Phillip, Hannah, and Heather Brogdon of Auburn, GA, Michael, Anthony and Antonia Bono of Ft. Pierce, Zackary and Trina Fussell of Vero Beach. And her special friend Wil Pinyon of Bryson City, N.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Dow and her parents, Fate and Rosa Lee Williams.
