Erma Virginia Detrick, 83, died July 14, 2006 in Mooresville, North Carolina at her daughter’s residence.Mrs. Detrick was born in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Ft. Pierce 48 years ago.
She was a registered nurse for 46 years and had worked for many years at Fort Pierce Memorial Hospital and Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include hers sons, Billy R. Detrick of Schertx, TX and Hugh C. Detrick, Jr. of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Terri Hedgepath of Mooresville, NC and Pamela Bridgers of Tallapoosa, GA; brothers, Richard Allan of Hubbard, OR and Charles Allan of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Ruth Watern of Dayton, OH; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Detrick, son, Timmy E. Detrick, brother, Donald Allan and sister, Martha Crabtree.Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
