He worked for Grumman Air Craft for 30 years and was a volunteer firefighter in Linden Hurst, Long Island. Ernest loved playing golf and making people smile to know him was to love him.
He was predeceased by his first wife Margaret Forte, survived by his loving wife Sonia Forte, daughter Lynn Desolate son-in-law Jack Desolate, son Wayne Forte daughter-in-law Stacy Forte, daughter Janel Francis, and son Michael Francis, 19 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday 10/6/2017 from 1:00-4:00 PM at
Spanish Lakes Country Club Village off of Feeder Road in Fort Pierce, Florida
