Ernest George Picard

Ernest George Picard, 88, died December 28, 2006 in Stuart, Florida.Mr. Picard was born in Esmond, Rhode Island and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1996 coming from Tamarac, Florida.Prior to retirement, he worked for Texas Instruments for 20 years. He was a member of the AMVets, VFW and the American Legion.Survivors include his daughter, Sister Jacqueline Picard RJM; step-children, William Welch, Craig Welch, Michael Welch, Dianne Kelsey, Patricia McCormick and Doris Tolbert; he was preceded in death by his first wife, Helene Brindamour and second wife, Charlotte Kent Welch, son, Ernest G. Picard, Jr., brother, Norman Picard, sisters, Rita Knopf, Lillian Dubuc and Anita Desilets.Memorial contributions may be made to the RJM Haiti Fund, 65 Lake Shore Drive, Warwick, RI 02889.
