Ernest Vance Parks, 69, died September 18, 2006 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.Mr. Parks was born in Grant, Virginia and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1980 coming from Level, Maryland.Ernest worked for Indian River Community College for 15 years as a custodian. He enjoyed reading and martial arts.Survivors include his son, Ernest V. Parks, Jr. of Elkton, MD; daughter, Jennifer L. Parks of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters, Lillie Gerwan of Ft. Pierce, FL; Hattie Parks of Ft. Pierce, FL and Jessie Cox of Vero Beach, FL and brother, David Parks of Aberdeen, MD.
