Ervin Wheeler, 89, passed away November 2, 2021, in Alamosa, Colorado.
Mr. Wheeler was born in Fort Pierce, Florida and had lived there most of his life.
Ervin loved to live life to its fullest and truly made the most of every moment. His favorite thing to do was fix things which made him a great mentor and educator. Some would also know him by his love for horses and bull riding, fishing, dancing, hunting, and growing the most beautiful roses.
Survivors include his daughters, Beverly Elaine Pickering of Sebring, FL, Holly Dominguez of Salem, AL, Heather and Hiedie Wheeler of Alamosa, Colorado; Sons, Bryan wheeler of Phenix City, AL and Brett Wheeler of Alamosa, Co; Sister, Susie Gore of Alma, Ga; Brother, Leon Wheeler of Westgreen, Ga.; Ervin has 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Preceding Ervin’s passing are: Daughter, Mary Louise Oswalt; Grandson, Jimmy Dubberly; Mother, Ada Yates Wheeler; Father Rubin Wheeler; Brothers, David, Bernice, Johnny and Christopher Wheeler.
Service: A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 10:00 AM at the Bassinger Cemetery in Okeechobee, Florida.
