Eugene Pope, 90, died June 26, 2010 in Ft Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Pope was born in Mt Clemens, Michigan and moved to Ft Pierce in 1962 coming from Cheboygan, Michigan.
He retired from the US Coast Guard and the City of Ft Pierce. He was the past president of PEGA.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Ft Pierce Police Athletic League, 920 South US1, Ft Pierce, FL 34950.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Anne Pope of Ft Pierce, FL; daughters Alicia Pope-Webb of Talladega, AL, Melissa Alexander of Port St Lucie, FL, and Tiffney Winters of Ft Myers, FL; son Larry Pope of Englewood, FL; sister Betty Laity of Coleman, MI; brother George Pope of Noel, MO; 8 grandchildren.
Services: A visitation will be held Tuesday June 29, 2010 10-11 AM with a service to begin at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
