Evelyn Bullus, 91, died October 4, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

She was born in Braceville, Ohio was the daughter of Carl W. and Eva A. Bronson.

Evelyn was a registered nurse for many years at the Fort Pierce Memorial Hospital and specialized in Private duty nursing. She graduated with honors from Warren City Hospital School of Nursing, Warren, Ohio.

Evelyn had many interests. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce, Women’s Club, Ladies of the Moose and a Past member of the Retired Medical and Nursing Club. She enjoyed playing bingo, dominos with her friends and family and especially enjoyed her Bridge Club.

Preceded in death by her Husband of 55 years, William B. Bullus, Jr. and her first husband, Lt. Homer Spahlinger who was killed in World War II.

Survivors include her two Children, William B. Bullus III (Sarah) of Ormond Beach, Beth L. Childs (Roy) of Fort Pierce. Grandchildren, Rebecca Childs (Amy Casion) of Supply, NC, Eric Childs (Carrie) of Fort Pierce, Amy Johnson (Cameron) of Fort Pierce, Rob Bailey (Michelle) of Gainesville, Matthew Bailey (Jamie) of Daytona Beach. Great grandchildren, Charlotte & Henry Caison-Childs, Cole, Wyatt, Meghan, Sawyer Childs, Wesley Johnson, Leah and Lily Bailey. Sisters, Belva Shoff of Melbourne, FL, Velma Bowman of Warren, Ohio, Violet Goff of Southington, Ohio. Brothers, Myron Bronson (Twyla) of Courtland, Ohio and James Bronson of Kinsman, Ohio.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be given to First United Methodist Church, 616 Orange Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34950 or to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.

A reception will follow at the Centennial Hall at the church
