Evelyn P. Samuel, 90, died February 3, 2012 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Samuel was born in King George County, Virginia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1946 coming from Washington, D.C.
Prior to retirement, she was employed by the Motor Vehicle Section for 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ft. Pierce for 65 years serving in the choir and the nursery. She was an avid gardener.
Survivors include her sons, Franklin H. (Sally) Samuel of Port St. Lucie, FL, Edward J. (Fay) Samuel of Fort Pierce, FL, and Matthew D. (Crystal) Samuel of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Carolyn (Richard) Miller of Fairbanks, Alaska, Lillian (Paul) Samuel of Fort Pierce, FL and Mary (Curt) Littman of Fredericksburg, TX; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
