Evelyn Eleanor Stewart

Evelyn Eleanor Stewart, 95, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, September 5th at Treasure Coast Hospice.

Evelyn, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, was born on August 12, 1922, in Lake City, South Carolina, to her parents, William and Ruby Cook.

She was a very special person who loved the church, her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Brooks of Fort Pierce, FL and sister, Juliette Osbourne of Turbeville, SC; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kay Grimes, and sons, Tommy McKenzie and Charles McKenzie, sister, Dorothy Jackson, and brothers, William, James and Maxie Cook.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
