Flora L. "Cookie" Wilson

Flora L. "Cookie" Wilson, 72, of Ft. Pierce, passed away on November 28, 2015, at Treasure Coast Hospice, Ft. Pierce.
She was born August 20, 1943, in Jacksonville, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Ezella (Massey) Billings. She has been a long time resident of Ft. Pierce, moving here in 1962.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the American Quilters Society and the Royal Arch Widows. She was a published poet, receiving gold and silver awards for published poetry in "The Golden Treasury of Great Poems" and "World of Poetry Anthology".
Cookie is survived by her husband, of 53 years, Clarence O. Wilson of Ft. Pierce; daughters, Talissa L. Wilson and Susan E. Mounts, both of Ft. Pierce; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her step son, Darrell E. Wilson of Pascagula, MS.
Services: A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 1-2 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
