Florence J. (King) Colantuono, 82, of Ft. Pierce, passed Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House, Ft. Pierce.
She was born September 26, 1933, in Flushing, Queens, New York, the daughter of the late George and Julia King. She was a long time resident of Centereach, Long Island, NY, until moving to the Ft. Pierce area in 1989.
Mrs. Colantuono loved spending her time with her children as well as knitting.
Florence is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leo P. Colantuono of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Leo P. Colantuono Jr. of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Carol A. Colantuono of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Frances I. Cavallo of Ocala, FL; eight grand-children, and five great-granchildren. She was the mother of the late George J. Colantuono of Long Island, NY, who passed in 2004.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation and services on Saturday, March 26, 2016, from 10 am to 12 pm, with service following immediately afterwards, in the chapel of the Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Road, Ft. Pierce, FL.
