Florence E. Duke, 91, died October 5, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Duke was born in New York City, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1986 coming from Hialeah, Florida.
Prior to retirement, she was the secretary at Monsignor Pace High School, Miami, Florida.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Duke of Okeechobee, FL, Thomas Duke of Hialeah, FL, Kenneth Duke of Key Largo, FL and William Duke of Ft. Pierce, FL; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt and son, Edward.
Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Burial will take place at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, Miami, FL.
