Florence Katherine Wass, 98, died January 4, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Wass was born in Buffalo, South Dakota and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1924 coming from West Union, Iowa.
She was a member & volunteer senior citizen of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Ft. Pierce High School. She loved to crochet and was a member of a sewing club.
Survivors include her sister, Luella Johnson of Ft. Pierce, FL. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Sullivan and Wilson Rexroad Wass and brothers, Richard and Ronald Johnson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lucie County Humane Society, P. O. Box 3661, Fort Pierce, FL 34948.
Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 4-6 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
