Florence "Flo" Shaver Lindstrom

Florence “Flo” Shaver Lindstrom, 91, died June 6, 2015 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Lindstrom was born in Dixon, Illinois and moved to Fort Pierce in 1970 coming from
Rockford, Illinois.

Prior to retirement, she worked as a secretary for the St. Lucie County School System. She was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church. She loved to sew, enjoyed camping and was an avid reader.

Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Koch of Loves Park, IL and Janel (David) Cohen of Fort Pierce, FL; son, John Lindstrom, Jr. of Fort Pierce, FL; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lindstrom, Sr., daughter, Susan Lindstrom.

Services: A service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A reception will follow at the Haisley Reception Center.
