Florence Taylor, 86, died November 20, 2011 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Newark, New Jersey and moved to Fort Pierce in 1950.
She enjoyed being a housewife and taking good care of her family; a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was skilled at cooking, baking, canning, quilting, crocheting, sewing, and liked to dance, and play games and cards.

Survivors include her daughters Sherry Towler of Port St. Lucie, FL and Nancy McConkey of Fort Pierce; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ollie Benson “O.B.” Taylor, son Robert Taylor, sisters Mary Kinder and Helen Gaglio, and brother John Skardzius.
Services: A graveside service will be held Tuesday November 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM at White City Cemetery in Fort Pierce.
