Florencio Agron, Sr 94, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away surrounded by his beloved family on March 20, 2024 at his home.
Florencio, also known as Flor, was born May 1, 1929 to Juan and Pilar (Perea) Agron in Añasco, Puerto Rico. Florencio was a beloved husband to Maria Antonia since 1964; father of five, grandfather of eleven and great-grandfather of six. Most recently Florencio and Maria Antonia celebrated 60 years of a testament of True Love and Marriage.
Florencio was a steward and Eucharistic Minister for over 20 years at Saint Barbara’s Roman Catholic Church. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and was a member of the Hispanic Brotherhood Society of Brooklyn, NY.
Florencio’s greatest joy was family. He also loved working in his garden and playing dominos. Florencio contributed annually to the Brooklyn/Queens Diocesan Promise. Florencio is survived by his darling bride, Maria Antonia; children, Florencio Jr, Maria, Lisandra Concepcion, Jorge Luis, and Sergio Agron. He will be remembered by his eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Florencio’s family will hold a visitation from 2PM to 7PM on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Lucie Catholic Church 290 NW Prima Vista Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11AM. Burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery.
