Floyd Alexander Armbrister
Floyd Alexander Armbrister, 81, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away surrounded by his beloved family on April 12, 2022. Floyd was born December 20, 1940 on the beautiful Island of Whales Cay Berry Island, Bahamas to parents, Ervin and Louise Armbrister.
He grew up on Sandy Point Abaco and attended James a Pinder All Ages School. He completed Private Vocational Training on Bird Cay Berry Island. With a positive desire for higher education, he transferred to Nassau. After building a multiplicity of houses in Nassau, Floyd immigrated to Florida and joined the staff at Jackson Hospital in Miami for 25 years.
After retiring, Floyd moved to the beautiful, sunny Treasure Coast, settling in Port St. Lucie, where he enjoyed his hobbies, such as boating, fishing, playing the guitar, and spending more time with his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28th, 2022 at Haisley Tribute Center from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The service will be held the following day, Friday, April 29th, 2022 at the Calvary Compassion Church at 11:00 AM.
