Frances Irene Robbins, 82, died September 21, 2009 in Ft. Pierce, FL.
Ms. Robbins was born in Miami, FL and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1948 coming from Hamilton, OH.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ft. Pierce. She was the registrar for the St. Lucie County Health Department for 15 years and bookkeeper for Pete’s Tile Company in Ft. Pierce for 10 years. She loved dancing.
Survivors include her daughter, Leah Jett, of Ft. Pierce; son, Brian Simmons, of Ft. Pierce; step-daughters, Nancy Robbins, of Richmond, VA and Janet Boudet, of Tallahassee, FL; 3 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dogs & Cats Forever, 9550 Carlton Road, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987.
Services: A gathering will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 from noon to 1:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 1:00PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
