Frances Eva (Wainwright) Lukac, or Franny as she liked to be called, was taken from us on January 8th, 2018, and called to Heaven.
Franny was born on November 25th, 1932, to Frank and Rose Sherry in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where she lived most of her adult life. She married George R. Wainwright on July 11th, 1953. They were married until he unexpectedly passed away in April of 1977. Later on in life, Franny was lucky to find love again and married Andelko (Andy) Lukac in August of 1993 and relocated to Port Saint Lucie Florida after her retirement from Heim Bearings where she was employed as an inspector. They were married until his death in July of 2015.
Franny is survived by her son Ed Wainwright of Fishkill, New York, her son George Wainwright of Fort Pierce, Florida, and her niece Beverly Cibulsky, of Fort Pierce, Florida, whom she considered a daughter. She is also survived by her sister Rose Balek of Fort Pierce, Florida, and her brother Frank Sherry of Naples, Florida. She also has several grandchildren: Kyle Wainwright and Emily Wainwright of Stoneridge, New York; Ashley Wainwright, Tory Wainwright, and Jaclyn Wainwright of Ansonia, Connecticut; and several nieces and nephews. Franny is predeceased by her sister Katherine Sherry of Naples, Florida and grandson George Wainwright of Oxford, Ct.
Franny liked to play pinochle with family and friends, play games on the computer with her sister Rose and she was learning to play dominos. For those of you who knew her, she loved a “clean” house. She will be missed by all of us.
