Francis C. Smith, 17, died February 1, 2009 in Jupiter, Florida.
Francis was born in Melbourne, Florida and has been a life long resident of Ft. Pierce, FL.
He was in the 11th grade at Lincoln Park Academy; member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Life Scout in Boy Scouts of America Troop #450 & Crew # 2465 and was working on becoming an Eagle Scout. He was an adventurer who loved the outdoors and loved playing his guitar.
Survivors include his parents, Kenneth & Teresa Smith of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Samantha Smith of Ft. Pierce, FL; and brother, Kaleb Smith of Ft. Pierce, FL.
A burial fund has been set up in the name of Francis C. Smith and donations can be made at any National City Bank.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 5-8 PM with a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
