Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Sharon Patterson-Carpentier of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Jenica Ogborn of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lakisha Battle of Fort Pierce, FL and Tanisha Battle of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Elijah Patterson of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Joseph Carpentier of Fort Pierce, FL and Richard Carpentier of China; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
