Francis "Chick" Manfre

Francis Philip Manfre, 74, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away August 4, 2023 in Ft. Pierce, FL. 
 
Francis “Chick” Manfre was born in Ozone Park in Queens, New York on May 7, 1949 to Agostino and Josephine (Bianco) Manfre. Francis graduated from John Adams High School. Chick attended Queens Community College and graduated with an associate degree. Chick worked for the New York Stock Exchange for 35 years. 
 
Francis married the love of his life, Irene Alouise on June 30, 1978. They had two daughters, Nicole and Gina Marie. Chick was a member of the Wantagh, New York chapter of the Knights of Columbus, worshiped at St. William the Abbot RC Church in Seaford, NY.
 
Chick loved fishing. He was an avid collector of coins and baseball and softball cards.  Chick spent most of his time with his only grandchild, Hailey – “The Goose.”
 
Francis will be forever missed by his beautiful wife, Irene; his beloved daughters, Nicole Annette Manfre of Port St. Lucie, FL and GinaMarie Steele of Ft. Pierce, FL; and devoted granddaughter, Hailey Marie Manfre of Port St. Lucie, FL of Port St. Lucie, FL. His survivors also include, son-in-law, William Ramos Jr of Port St. Lucie, FL and sister, Josephine Nastasi of Manorville, NY.
 
Francis will be inurned at St Charles Resurrection Cemeteris of Famingdale, NY at a later date.
