Francisco Antonio “Toney” Perez, 55, passed away in Fort Pierce, FL on 8/26/2024 following a short, but intense battle with an aggressive form of cancer, surrounded by his family. Born in Delaware, and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend. He was a hardworking, caring man, who believed love was the answer to all of life’s problems and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was charming, funny, and opinionated. He gave amazing hugs, sound advice, and a listening ear to those who needed it. He always tried to look for a bright solution in a negative situation. He loved life, his family, riddles and music. He sometimes found that music helped him express himself, a trait he cultivated in his children. He leaves behind three children - Kathleen, Kalinda and Damien, who miss him more than words can say. A memorial service for him will be held on September 21st, to help those who love him, ‘remember to chase the clouds away’.
