Frank J. Guettler Jr.

Frank J. Guettler Jr. passed away March 22, 2017. He was born in Ft. Pierce, Florida to Frank Sr. and Marguerite Frere Guettler on January 5, 1938. Frank graduated from St. Anastasia, then
joined the United States Air Force in 1956. After basic training, Frank was stationed at the Royal Air Force Station Chicksands, England. In 1959, Paddy Weatherford, also of Fort Pierce, joined Frank in England and the two were married.

After returning to Fort Pierce, Frank worked at Southern Bell/Bellsouth until retirement. Frank also retired from the U. S. Air Force Reserves and was a long time member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Ft. Pierce. Frank had a passion for gardening, socializing, and spending his summers at his cabin in North Carolina. Frank was a loving and supportive father and friend. He will be missed dearly.

Frank is survived by: his children - Joan Kelley and her husband, Robert; Marguerite Buccola and her husband, Roy; Gary Guettler and his wife, Denise; Andy Guettler and his wife, Penni; Susan Leo and her husband, Paul; and Barbara Guettler; his grandchildren - Katie Morphew and her husband, Glen; Kalib Guettler, Tyler Kelley, Kelci Guettler, Kassidy Guettler, Jacob Leo, Max Debus, Alyssa Leo, and Kelley Buccola; his greatgrandchildren - Ellie and Hazel Morphew; his siblings - sister-in-law, Mary Guettler; Gerry Wells and her husband, Fred; Bob Guettler and his wife, Debbie; Ray Guettler and his wife, Gabby. Frank was also survived by his dog Alfie and many wonderful friends.

Frank was preceded in death by: his father, Frank Sr.; mother, Marguerite; step-mother, Esther; son, Stephen; brother, Larry; sister, Germaine Moore.

In lieu of flowers, the family request, a donation to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

A visitation and celebration of life will be held at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL on Thursday April 6, 2017 from 5p.m. to 8p.m. A memorial mass will be held in his name Friday April 7, 2017 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Fort Pierce at 1:30p.m.
