Frank D. Valle, Jr.

Frank Valle, 86, of Ft. Pierce, FL peacefully passed away at his home on Sunday, September 20, 2015.
Frank was born at home on May 22, 1929 in Dalzell, IL to Dominica (Vallero) and Frank Valle. He was the first college graduate of his family having attended Bradley University, Peoria, IL. It was during this time that he met his bride, Suzanne Dolen. They married in December 1951. After college he served his country in the Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Trieste, Italy. In 1954, Frank and Sue settled in Trenton, MI where he began a 33 year career with Chrysler Corporation. Taking advantage of the GI bill, Frank continued his education by obtaining a law degree from the Detroit College of law. He started in the labor relations department at Chrysler Trenton Engine Plant and eventually ascended to Director of Hourly Industrial Relations at Chrysler World Headquarters in Highland Park, Michigan. Also, at the young age of 29, he was elected City Judge of Trenton, MI. where he held court every Wednesday night for over 10 years. Frank and Sue raised their family, Debra, Pamela and John in the city of Trenton, MI. Upon retirement they moved to Grosse Ile, MI for the summer months and Ft. Pierce, FL for the winter where they now permanently reside.
Frank enjoyed his retirement. He and Sue have traveled the world and shared their love of travel with each of their children and grandchildren, often taking them on some magnificent adventures. He loved to play golf and was a life member of Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club and a current member of Meadowood Country Club in Florida. A good day for Frank was a round of golf followed by a game of bridge, gin or poker. He was an avid follower of Michigan State football and basketball. Frank loved his family very much and was especially proud of each of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Suzanne (Dolen) Valle; Children, Debra Valle (Tom Beck), Pamela Arthur (Jay Arthur), John Valle (Barbara Mann), Grandchildren; Nicole Gross, Sean, Jack and Jaime Arthur, Erin and Rebecca Valle and his sister, Shirley Delaney (Eugene Delaney) of Peru, IL., along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank Valle and Minnie Goodwin, and his infant daughter, Karin Valle. The family will receive friends Friday, September 25, 2015 from 10:00 – 11:30, followed by a service at 11:30 at Haisley Funeral, 3015 Okeechobee Road, Fort Piece, FL 34947.
