Frank T. Verrastro

Frank T. Verrastro, 67, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida and formerly of Stamford and Norwalk passed away November 12, 2016 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Stamford, January 28, 1949 to the late Leonard and Sara Verrastro.


Frank was a graduate of Stamford Catholic High School and Sacred Heart University, where he was a founding member of the Sigma Tau Omega fraternity. Frank was employed by Beiersdorf, Inc for 31 years. He was an avid fan of the UConn girl’s basketball team.


Frank is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anna Maria Verrastro of Port Saint Lucie; daughter, Sara D’Ambrosio and her husband, Vincenzo of East Haven Connecticut; grandsons, Domenico, Carmine, and Louis D’Ambrosio; daughter Maria Dalia and her husband, Daniel of Port Saint Lucie, and grandson Bennett; daughter, Melissa Verrastro of Port Saint Lucie; brother, Leonard and wife, Virginia of Stamford; nieces, Jennifer Mocarski and husband Prez and Jessica Verrastro; brother-in-law, Robert J. Mastrianna of Waynesboro, Virginia; sister-in-law, Concetta Mastrianna of Milford and nephews; Charles, Paul, and Jake Mastrianna.
Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Louis and Ralph Mastrianna.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Frank’s name to the East Haven Youth Football League, C/O D’Ambrosio 6 Raymond Court, East Haven, CT 06512.


A Gathering will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 4PM – 6PM at the Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34984.
