Franklin L. Dawson

Franklin L. Dawson, 89, died May 2, 2006 in Fort Pierce, Florida.Mr. Dawson was born in Bellville, Ohio and has been a resident of Fort Pierce since 1961.He worked as a Sales Contractor/Engineer for dairy equipment. He was a member of St Andrew Lutheran Church in Port St Lucie. He was also past president of Indian River Estates Home Owners Association and the original organizer of Citizens Patrol for Indian River Estates. He was a life member of American Legion in Okeechobee, member of VFW in Ft Pierce, Associate life member of St Lucie County Retired Educators, served during WWII in the US Army in the European Theater, and was past treasurer of St Lucie County Republican Executive Community.

Orange Ave. Suite #227, Winterpark, FL 32789 and Building Fund of St Andrew Lutheran Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Arabelle Dawson of Ft Pierce, FL; daughter, Darlene Dawson of Ft Pierce, FL; brothers, William Dawson of Fox Lake, WI and Boyd Dawson of Spring City, TN; sister, Betty Connell of Columbus, OH; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.Services: A visitation will be held Friday, May 5, 2006 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home with a service on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 10 AM at St Andrew Lutheran Church in Port St Lucie.
