Freddy Glenn Anderson “Sonny”, age 78 of White City, Florida, passed away peacefully at his family home of 68 years, with his loving daughters at his side on November 21, 2016.
Freddy was born to William Thomas and Elizabeth Jane Anderson on February 21, 1938 in Plant City, Florida. After spending the first 10 years of his childhood living in Nashville, Tennessee, his family moved to Fort Pierce, Florida.
Fred was honorably discharged as a Private Second Class from the United States Army after serving 3 years. He was stationed at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Fort Dix, New Jersey and Germany.
Fred was best known for being a jack of all trades and master of none, but his passion was for long haul truck driver for many years. Through the many years crossing the country, he made friends all over the states.
Survivors include; daughters, Malina and her husband Scott Finocchiaro of Bahrain, and Kristi and her husband Mike Williamson of Lake Wales, Florida; sister, Ann Carol Bryan of Mineral Bluff, Georgia; grandchildren, Amber Lynn, Alexis Lee and Tyler Scott; many loving nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents; sister, Billie Sue Abrahmson.
A gathering will be held at the Haisley Tribute Center, 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34984 on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 2:30PM to 5:30PM with a service to start at 3:00PM.
