He is survived by his daughter, Kristian Hecklau of Mooresville, NC; his son, James Van Der Linden of Fountain, CO; his parents, Keith and Dorothy Van Der Linden; his brother, Russell Van Der Linden; his sister, Aprille Truax; and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Katie Marie Van Der Linden.

There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM, at Haisley Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held in NY at a later date.
