Frederick Skibik
Frederick Skibik, 85, died August 16, 2015 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Skibik was born in New York City, New York and moved to Fort Pierce 30 years ago coming from Outcalt, New Jersey.
Prior to retirement, he was a superintendent of a construction company and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America Local 472, past member of the American Legion in Spotswood, New Jersey, Vice Commander, lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, past member of the 40 & 8, and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mary S. Skibik of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Frederick P. (Michelle) Skibik of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Mary Jane (Joseph) Marrazo of Port St. Lucie, FL and Jo-Ann Miner of Melrose, FL; sister, Rose M. Brower of Winter Park, FL; 4 grandchildren, Angela, Isabella, Jacob, and Aubrey; and 2 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Joshua. He was preceded in death by his brother, George.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 9-10 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2330 SE Mariposa Ave, Port St. Lucie. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
