Gail Ellen Carter, 57, died December 7, 2008 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Carter was born in Coral Gables, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce in 2001.
She was the owner of Riverview Hair Design in Ft. Pierce and member of the 1520 Elkettes. Gail was very gifted in leather working, quilting, staining glass, and making jewelry. She was also an animal lover.
Survivors include her husband, Don Carter of Springfield, MO; daughters, Georgina Baker of Ozark, MO and Melissa Carter of Ft. Pierce, FL; mother, Lurene V. Gibbons of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Patti Raffensberger of Ft. Pierce, FL. She was preceded in death by her father, George Gibbons.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 9-10 AM with a service to follow at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
