Gale N. Ferris, 89, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away on July 24, 2017 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Ferris moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida in 1994 coming from Collingswood, New Jersey.
Gale was a Software Designer and Developer for 43 years in Camden, New Jersey. He played the saxophone, clarinet and piano in a band. He loved fishing and golfing. He was part of the Masonic Lodge in Camden, New Jersey.
Survivors include; sons, William Ferris of Port Saint Lucie, Florida and Timothy (Ruth) Ferris of Crozet, Virginia; daughters, LeeAnn (Klaus) Dewedoff of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Janice (Mark) Whitman of Hobe Sound, Florida, and Pamela (Peter) Simmonds of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; son, Gary Ferris of Fort Pierce, Florida; grandchildren, Jilian Whitman of Jupiter, Florida, Corena Ferris of Fort Pierce, Florida, Mark Whitman of Maryland, Samantha Ferris of Las Vegas, Nevada, Leola Simmonds of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Pamela Dewedoff of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Tyler Ferris of Fort Pierce, Florida, Kevlar Simmonds of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Catherine Ferris and daughter in law, Corena Ferris.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 2PM to 3PM with a service to start at 3PM at the Haisley Chapel 3015 Okeechobee Road Fort Pierce, Florida 34947.
