Gale M. Whittemore

Gale M. Whittemore, 79, passed away on March 22, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Whittemore was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts and moved to  Port St. Lucie, Florida in 1990 coming from Westminster, Massachusetts.

Gale was a hairdresser for over 40 years.  She loved to travel and spend time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Laurie Hayward of Luneburg, MA and Gale Knowles of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Ashley (Dan) Milinazzo, Joshua (Hope) Komberg, Justin Komberg, Devin Hayward, and Emily Knowles; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Mackenzie, Natalie, Jasper, and McKenna; sisters, Joan McGorty, Irene McKeon, and Debra Fortier; brothers, Bernard Gillis, Leo Gillis, and Vincent Gillis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Whittemore.

Services:  Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 4:30-5:30 PM with a service to follow at 5:30 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
