Gari Dein “Deinie” Sheffield Krueger
Born February 21, 1937, Died August 17th, 2011 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Deinie Krueger, also known as “2”, was actively involved in the National High School Rodeo Association as well as Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a life-long resident of Fort Pierce and a 6th generation Floridian. Deinie was well known for her class and her smile. Her ability to comfort in your time of need was indescribable. Those fortunate enough to have their lives touched by Deinie understood what a blessing and honor it was to have known her.
Deinie played an active role in the High School Rodeo Association and was part owner / and operator of Triple K Plumbing for over 20 years. Deinie always remained available for her children and grandchildren, for all things in their lives. Her family will remember her famous Christmas Eve dinners and gift giving traditions that made her unique. Deinie’s personality radiated a certain style of class that is undeniable. Her strength in any situation gave others the ability to survive all of life’s challenges in a way only a mother could do.
Her children and grandchildren best remember Grandma “2”, as a “Kool-Aide” mom. She was the type of grandma that could jar jelly and bake banana bread all while teaching you how to swim. Deinie gave you the encouragement to pursue your life’s ambition and would hug you in time of need.
She was married 43 years to Gene Krueger; and is survived by her 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Deinie’s family would like to extend gratitude to all of the prayers and best wishes that have been bestowed upon them. The last five years of her life have been difficult for Deinie and her family, as Alzheimer’s made it nearly impossible to share the last precious moments with her. In honor of Deinie’s memory, memorial contributions may be made to

to help research and to find a cure for Alzheimer’s.
A Christian celebration of her life will be held at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce on Monday August 22, 2011, 1pm.
