Genelda Rose Spells

Genelda Rose Spells, 87, died June 16, 2008 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mrs. Spells was born in Kenansville, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1925 coming from Kenansville.She worked for a packing house.Survivors include her daughters, Genelda Rose Matthews and Genelda Mary Spells both of Ft. Pierce, FL and Charlotte Sue Mason of Mississippi; sons, Jack E. Spells of Arkansas, Eugene R., James H., Troy L., Arthur L., Harvey P., and James L. Spells all of Ft. Pierce, FL; 41 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Spells and son, Harvey L. Spells.Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
